The Pattern App AKA How The Hell Can This Thing Know Me So Well

It was a simple link dropped into our ongoing text conversation.

I forgot about it as we talked about writing the next great screenplay.

A day later, he dropped the link again.

And that’s how I signed up to The Pattern. It wasn’t a hard sell. As someone that’s always been into understanding myself more and a longtime believer of astrology, this was right up my alley.

After putting in the date, location and time of my birth, I read and read…and read as this app succinctly summed up who I was and the current life cycle that I was in.

I can’t even understand how this thing is so spot on. I recruited a couple of friends to sign up. (Then quickly wondered if I was somehow a part of some scam recruiting scheme.) Two of the people are Capricorn men with birthdays one day apart. I was surprised at how completely different their personalities were, especially in relation to me, and how very accurate it was. That’s how I truly realized that this goes far behind the information provided by looking at zodiac signs (which I’ve always believed were pretty accurate as well).

After just a few days, I’m now at a place where I don’t even know if I can talk to people unless we’re friends on The Pattern. Just kidding (not kidding).
