Holy Sip Jamaica Playlist

Secretly, I wish I was a DJ. To substitute this lack of professional know-how, I’ve created mixtapes and playlists since college. For dinners, sometimes I hire a DJ, but for others, I like to test my skills on my imaginary turntables and create something that conveys the mood that I’m going for.

Below is this year’s Holy Sip Jamaica playlist. It’s equal parts reggae and afrobeat with a little trap set thrown in to represent all of the Atlanta folks that were at the dinner. I’m particularly fond of the transition from Skip Marley to Koffee. I’m also proud of Life Is Good track with Drake and Future. On the hook Future mentions causing a racked in Jamaica on the weekend. Pretty perfect.
