Talk of the Town: Badass trailblazers

The other day I was looking for an article that I wrote that ended up in Creative Loafing. My search brought me to an article that I was featured in that I had no idea about. It was for the Riazul Tequila event that I hosted and created cocktails for last summer.

I really enjoyed that event. It was one of my first times hosting anything (well formally) and it reminded me that yes, this is exactly what I’d like to do.

In addition to hosting, I created three cocktails for the event. I loved them all, but my favorite was the one that I made with cucumber juice. It’s even delicious if you leave out the tequila. The recipe is below.

What the Water Gave Me

1.5 oz Riazul Plata
1.5 oz cucumber juice
.5 oz St. George spiced pear liqueur
.25 oz lime juice

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake.

  3. Strain over fresh ice.
