I Thought About Erasing A Lot of Posts

I thought about scrubbing my blog and getting rid of some of my old posts. Deleting every remnant of my former life and my addiction to sugar (like this and this) and all of the cocktails that I’ve created and loved.

I tinkered with the idea for a minute and then immediately went: Nahhhhh.

I left it all because I think it's important to show my progression. (Also, transparency and being genuine are a part of my overall value system.) I decided to become a holistic health coach because I wanted to strengthen my own health and help others achieve the same results. But how can I help people if I try to act like I never ate a cheeseburger or had a drink (I still believe it can be part of a healthy lifestyle in moderation). You should know that I’ve eaten and enjoyed amazing burgers.

While I might eat differently now, I've always loved food and believed in its healing power and that hasn't changed. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reimaging my favorite dishes and sharing those with people. I still travel to eat. Sometimes I might treat myself to a sweet treat, but I don’t crave it anymore. That’s how I know that if I can get rid of the sweet tooth that I had, it's possible for anyone. My journey to where I am now wasn't perfect. Yours won't be either. But one day you'll be able to step back and go wow, I've really made progress. I feel good, and life is even more joyful than it was before.
